JPMorgan is arranging $4.25 billion in debt financing for Curium’s planned acquisition of Lantheus Holdings, with additional lenders discussing whether to join before the financing is syndicated to investors in 2027.

JPMorgan is one of Curium’s financial advisers and is leading the financing. Jefferies Financial Group, another adviser to Curium, is also involved.

Several other lenders are negotiating to participate, and a larger group of banks is expected to take shape soon. The investor syndication is planned for 2027.

Lantheus is a radiopharmaceutical company. Banks compete for leveraged buyout financing because these transactions can generate some of investment banking’s highest fees.
