Lyft plans to launch Alcove, a global chauffeur brand for corporate travel, in early 2027. The service will give managed business accounts a dedicated booking portal, expanding Lyft’s business offerings to cover premium chauffeured trips and more complex transportation needs.

The rollout is planned in stages. A portal for managed accounts is expected first in early 2027, followed later in the spring by self-service booking and a mobile app. Lyft has not provided an exact launch date.

Alcove is designed for VIP travel, major events and complicated itineraries, including reservations that involve multiple vehicles or extended bookings. Its planned network covers thousands of cities across six continents. The service will pair TBR’s operating experience and network with new technology.

Existing TBR customers are expected to continue working with the same teams. Round-the-clock support and security-sensitive transportation will also continue. Lyft Business customers will be able to use Alcove, which will operate as a separate brand.

The service builds on TBR Global Chauffeuring, which Lyft acquired in 2025. Before Alcove was announced, TBR handled premium ground transportation for business travelers and major events. Lyft expects the new brand to add incremental Gross Bookings and deliver strong margins, although no figures have been disclosed. Alcove’s launch is not expected to affect Lyft’s third- or fourth-quarter 2026 results.

“Great chauffeurs go above and beyond, and with Alcove, we are excited for more people to experience the highest levels of service,” Lyft CEO David Risher said. Further details are expected in early 2027.
