TSMC’s Fourth-Quarter Revenue Range Implies Growth of Up to 61%
The company also posted higher third-quarter net income as demand for leading-edge chips continued and 2-nanometer production ramped up.

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) expects fourth-quarter revenue to reach as much as $54.3 billion, a range that implies up to 61% annual growth amid continued demand for advanced AI chips.
TSMC’s forecast spans $52.3 billion to $54.3 billion, compared with $33.73 billion in revenue in the fourth quarter of 2025. The 55% to 61% year-over-year increase is calculated from those figures; TSMC provided a dollar range rather than a percentage forecast.
TSMC posted record third-quarter net income of NT$763.06 billion for the quarter ended Sept. 30, up 68.7% from a year earlier. Revenue rose 41.2% in U.S. dollar terms to $46.72 billion. The third-quarter figures had not been approved by TSMC’s board of directors.
Chief Financial Officer Wendell Huang pointed to “continued strong demand for our leading-edge process technologies” and a steep ramp-up of 2-nanometer production.
2-nanometer shipments accounted for 8% of wafer revenue in the quarter, while 7-nanometer and more advanced processes made up 79%.
