Pepeto Gives Two Presale Figures More Than $386,000 Apart

The first Oct. 15 announcement put the raise at $10.845 million; a post 53 minutes later said it had passed $11.231 million. An Oct. 2 announcement had already put it past $11.16 million.

Pepeto gave two presale figures less than an hour apart Oct. 15, with the later announcement putting the raise more than $386,000 above its first figure.

Pepeto put the first figure at $10.845 million in an announcement posted at 4:54 p.m. ET (20:54 UTC) Oct. 15. A second post, timestamped 5:47 p.m. ET (21:47 UTC), said the raise had passed $11.231 million. That second announcement carried an Oct. 16 dateline, although its posting timestamp was Oct. 15.

Both announcements described the current presale stage as close to selling out. An Oct. 2 announcement had put the raise past $11.16 million, a threshold $315,000 above the first Oct. 15 figure. The updates did not reconcile their reported amounts, and the lower-bound figures do not establish exact totals for Oct. 2 or the later Oct. 15 update.
