Tether Capital today announced a strategic investment in AIsa, a company that enables AI agents to access and pay for data, software, and computing services.
As AI agents move from simply answering questions to conducting research and managing workflows, they face a major bottleneck: purchasing systems, subscriptions, and contracts are built for people, not machines. AIsa removes this friction by combining access and payment into a single platform.
Key details:
Developers can connect their AI agents to models, data, APIs, and software tools through a single interface, with usage billed in fiat or stablecoins.
AIsa currently has more than 250,000 agents running on its platform and has processed over 100 million transactions.
The network offers access to over 5,000 APIs, skills, and models through one key, allowing payment per call rather than requiring separate vendor contracts.
The investment builds on Tether's recent backing of NEURA Robotics, extending its goal of giving people control over their money and access to intelligence when autonomous agents are doing the work.
As Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino notes, “As AI agents take on more work, people need a way to give them access to services while keeping control over what they spend.”
