Visa is moving its stablecoin prefunding feature for Visa Direct into commercial deployment, giving eligible customers and partners a way to fund cross-border payments with USDC near real time.

The rollout advances a capability that had been in pilot and is built for cross-border payments. Inyo Global is the first company to add the feature to its platform, through which eligible Visa Direct customers and partners can access it.

Businesses using Inyo can put USDC toward cross-border payments close to the time those transfers need funding. The approach reduces reliance on traditional funding windows, which the feature is designed to address.

The service pairs near-real-time prefunding with Visa’s global payment network. It is intended to help businesses manage liquidity with more flexibility and keep payment funding available around the clock. For corporate users, the deployment brings USDC prefunding into Visa Direct’s commercial cross-border payment service.
