Geely Targets Second-Half 2027 Google In-Car Launch Outside U.S. and China
The planned package includes Google Gemini, Google Maps and Google Play. Geely has not named the first vehicle or launch markets.

Geely Holding Group plans to add Google’s in-car services to eligible vehicles from its portfolio brands abroad, targeting a second-half 2027 start outside the United States and China.
The first vehicle application is planned for markets where Google services are available. The schedule depends on product development, regulatory requirements and market readiness.
The package is expected to include Google Gemini, Google Maps and Google Play, alongside voice interaction, navigation, cross-device connectivity and in-car apps. Geely named Geely, Lynk & Co., Proton, Riddara and smart among the passenger-vehicle brands expected to receive the services.
The company has not identified the first vehicle or launch markets. It plans to provide more details as the rollout progresses. Built-in Google services have been available in the Polestar 2 since 2020.
“Through our partnership with Google, we are bringing digital services directly into our vehicles,” said Shen Yuan, Geely Holding Group’s senior vice president and chief technology officer.
