Green SM Launches U.S. Taxi Service With 500 VinFast SUVs

Green SM began all-electric taxi operations in Los Angeles this week with 500 VinFast electric SUVs and 500 drivers, opening its first North American market and expanding its reach to nine countries.

The launch brings the Vietnamese operator into the U.S. market for the first time. Los Angeles is Green SM’s first market in North America, and the rollout starts with 500 vehicles and 500 drivers.

The company’s entry into the region takes its footprint to nine countries. Its Los Angeles service uses VinFast SUVs as the initial fleet.
