Silicon Motion Technology Corporation will increase its annual cash dividend 15% to $2.30 per American depositary share (ADS), up from $2.00 in 2025. The company supplies NAND flash controllers for solid-state storage devices and trades on Nasdaq under the ticker SIMO.

The dividend is planned in four quarterly installments of $0.575 per ADS. One ADS represents four ordinary shares, making each installment equivalent to $0.14375 per ordinary share. The four payments add up to the $2.30 annual rate.

The first payment is anticipated Nov. 19, 2026, for holders of record Nov. 5. The remaining expected payment dates are Feb. 26, May 21 and Aug. 19, 2027, with record dates of Feb. 16, May 6 and Aug. 5, respectively.

President and CEO Wallace Kou said revenue and profitability had increased significantly and that the business outlook “remains strong.” The payment dates are anticipated and may be changed by the board. Future cash dividends remain subject to the board’s decision.
