Novartis ended its Phase 2 trial of Fabhalta (iptacopan) for lupus nephritis for strategic reasons after the final patient completed the last visit in Part 1.
Fabhalta is an oral Factor B inhibitor. The study tested it alongside standard-of-care treatment for lupus nephritis, an inflammatory kidney condition associated with lupus.
