Lululemon Eliminated Seven Raw-Materials Jobs in August Reorganization
The company shifted some work closer to suppliers and listed related openings in Taipei and Ho Chi Minh City.

Lululemon eliminated seven jobs in its raw-materials development team in an August 2026 reorganization that shifted some work closer to suppliers amid renewed complaints about leggings.
The athletic-apparel company moved some raw-materials development functions to vendor partners. It has also listed related positions in Taipei and Ho Chi Minh City.
Complaints that leggings in the Get Low collection were too transparent prompted a temporary halt in online sales. Similar concerns about heart-patterned leggings surfaced weeks later.
The complaints followed other product setbacks. Lululemon discontinued its Breezethrough leggings in 2024 after criticism of their fit. In 2013, it recalled nearly 20% of its women’s bottoms over concerns about sheerness.
The reorganization comes as the company reports weaker sales. Lululemon’s second-quarter revenue declined 4.3% year over year to $2.416 billion. Comparable sales fell 9%, including a 12% drop in the Americas.
Lululemon expects full-year revenue to decline 5% to 7%. Its June outlook had projected revenue of $11 billion to $11.15 billion, a decline of 0% to 1%. The company’s second-quarter results included a forecast of $2.29 billion to $2.32 billion in third-quarter revenue, down 10% to 11% from a year earlier.
