More Than $1 Billion in RLUSD Issued on XRP Ledger
The fintech integration offers RLUSD through one API alongside bank transfers and real-time payments, with service currently available in a limited number of states.

More than $1 billion in Ripple USD (RLUSD) has been issued on the XRP Ledger (XRPL), marking a supply milestone alongside Cross River’s payment integration for fintech customers.
Announced Oct. 15, the integration makes RLUSD available through Cross River’s Core Operating System (COS). Fintechs can access it through one API alongside ACH, wire transfers and real-time payments, without setting up their own blockchain infrastructure. The service is currently available in a limited number of states.
XRPL transactions can settle in three to five seconds, cost a fraction of a cent and operate 24/7. Potential uses include cross-border payments, treasury transfers and intraday settlement.
Cross River introduced a broader stablecoin payments offering on Nov. 24, 2025, to connect stablecoin and fiat transactions through its banking platform. The RLUSD integration adds the token and XRPL support to that service. The Oct. 15 rollout was covered in earlier coverage of Cross River’s RLUSD integration.
