Each of three Grayscale investment products is listed with a $2,500 minimum through Republic, offering crypto-linked private placements to U.S. investors who qualify as accredited investors.

The products provide different kinds of exposure. The Grayscale DeFi Fund (DEFG) holds a market-cap-weighted basket of decentralized finance protocols. The Grayscale Decentralized AI Fund targets protocols involved in decentralized computing, data storage and AI services. The Grayscale Data Network Trust provides exposure to the Data Network’s DATA token.

Grayscale announced its partnership with Republic and the offering Oct. 15 at 9 a.m. ET (13:00 UTC). Republic co-CEO Andrew Durgee described the arrangement as a way to access the funds early in their life cycle, “for a minimum investment of just $2,500.”

The products are private-placement securities that are not registered under the Securities Act of 1933. Their shares have significant resale and transfer restrictions and cannot be redeemed. The products are speculative and illiquid, and investors could lose their entire investment.

The Republic-listed minimums differ from amounts in earlier Form D/A amendments. Filings dated Jan. 5, 2026, list $50,000 minimums for the DeFi and Decentralized AI funds. A Sept. 24, 2026, amendment lists a $25,000 minimum for the Data Network Trust.
