AIsa’s Funding Tops $9 Million as Tether and HIVEN Join Extension
The company has begun enterprise pilots in four business areas, but did not disclose the extension’s size.

AIsa announced Thursday, Oct. 15, that its cumulative funding had topped $9 million after Tether and HIVEN joined a seed extension. The AI infrastructure startup has also begun testing its agent services with enterprise customers.
The $9 million-plus figure covers funding across rounds; it is not the size of the extension. AIsa did not disclose the round amount, Tether’s individual investment or its valuation. AIsa had raised $6.5 million in total by July, including a seed round co-led by Alibaba and Tribe Capital. Its existing backers also include Sumitomo Corporation, Draper Associates and Saison Capital.
AIsa connects AI agents to external data, models, application programming interfaces, software tools and computing resources. The platform measures usage and handles billing and settlement, allowing agents to access paid services through one system. AIsa meters usage for billing and settlement. Payments can be made in fiat or stablecoins.
Businesses can set permissions, budgets and spending limits, along with approval workflows and audit trails. These controls let organizations decide which resources an agent can access, how much it can spend and when a person must approve a purchase. The system pairs automated service access with company oversight of spending.
Its enterprise pilots cover financial intelligence, market research, supply-chain management and commerce. The company has not named the participants or disclosed the pilots’ stages, revenue or results.
AIsa has more than 250,000 agents running and has processed over 100 million transactions, though neither figure has a stated measurement cutoff or transaction breakdown. AIsa had more than 50,000 registered agents in July. The two figures describe different measures and do not establish a direct growth comparison.
Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino said, “People need a way to give them access to services while keeping control over what they spend.” AIsa founder and CEO Jordan Liu said, “Enterprise AI agents need trusted information, useful tools and a governed way to transact.”
Stablecoin payments offer a possible route for automated purchases of digital services, but AIsa has not named a specific stablecoin or quantified payment activity. The new funding and pilot details add to coverage of Tether’s investment and AIsa’s agent payment platform.
