BAYC Launches Mudwater Cards With 2.5% ApeCoin Reward Mechanism

Bored Ape Yacht Club has launched Mudwater, a physical and digital trading-card series on Solana that uses a 2.5% transaction reward mechanism to buy ApeCoin (APE) for collectors. The purchased tokens are distributed in proportion to the number of Mudwater cards each collector holds.

The release covers 10,000 boxes, each containing 24 packs of 10 cards. The 120-artwork set includes foil and numbered cards, along with rare items featuring an ice-cracked texture.

BAYC and MAYC holders received 6,551 Totems to claim packs. Each BAYC corresponds to 10 packs, while each MAYC corresponds to two.

Totems, Packs and Cards are available to trade on OpenSea. A feature to upgrade packs into boxes is planned.
