Circle has removed its net-redemption surcharge for institutional customers cashing out USDC and EURC through Circle Mint, lowering standard redemption costs while keeping a 0.05% fee for faster processing.

Circle charges no redemption fee under its Standard option and processes complete requests within two business days. Express offers near-instant processing at five basis points, or 0.05%, of the gross redemption amount before credits. Bank settlement follows either option, so processing time does not indicate when cash will reach a customer’s account.

Eligible Express customers who mint more than they redeem during a billing period can receive credits against fees paid. Those credits can reach 100% at $100 million in net minting, up to the amount of fees paid.

Circle has renamed its Basic option Standard and its Institutional option Express. It has retired the former Standard tier, including its $10 million daily gross-redemption limit. Circle Mint serves institutions such as exchanges and banks and is unavailable to individuals. The revised terms apply to billing periods beginning Oct. 19 or later; existing customers move to them when their next billing period starts.
