Payoneer Finds 69% of Surveyed U.S. Finance Leaders Use Stablecoins
All 265 respondents worked at businesses with at least $100 million in annual revenue and had some stablecoin experience or interest.

A Payoneer survey of 265 U.S. payments, treasury and finance leaders found that 69% said their organizations use stablecoins in live operations, showing uptake among larger businesses already exposed to the assets.
The figure does not measure adoption across all U.S. companies. Every respondent was using, piloting or evaluating stablecoins, or had previous experience with them. Participants worked at marketplaces, platforms and other businesses with at least $100 million in annual revenue.
Payoneer released the findings Oct. 19 after conducting the survey in September. Across the full group, 41% said their organizations used stablecoins at meaningful scale. That is a smaller share than the 69% reporting any live operational use.
Among respondents whose organizations were using or piloting stablecoins, 50% named quicker settlement as a benefit. Better access to markets and currencies came next at 41%, and 40% cited an improved experience for payment recipients. Those figures describe benefits perceived by participants, rather than measured changes in payment performance.
Customer-facing use was less widespread. Thirty-three percent of respondents said their organizations already offered stablecoin capabilities to customers. Operational use and a service offered to customers are different measures, so the two figures should not be treated as competing estimates of adoption.
Looking ahead, 82% of all respondents expected stablecoins to become part of their financial infrastructure within three years. That expectation reflects the views of a group selected for its existing exposure to stablecoins, including respondents whose organizations were still evaluating the technology.
The survey also identified obstacles to broader use: connecting stablecoins to existing systems, reconciling payments, preparing for regulatory requirements and establishing provider accountability. “The technology needs to deliver practical value for businesses and their customers,” said Renata Camera Santos, eBay’s general manager of wallet business, monetization and innovation.
Another 50% of respondents said their organizations planned to offer stablecoin capabilities to customers within three years.
