El Salvador’s National Bitcoin Office is preparing Bitcoin Histórico for Nov. 11 and 12 in San Salvador, the centerpiece of five main events covering Bitcoin (BTC) finance, everyday payments and artificial intelligence.

Local groups are planning additional events around the main schedule. Bitcoin Histórico will use the National Palace and nearby venues in the city’s historic center. Speeches at the palace are scheduled to appear on screens in Plaza Gerardo Barrios. Bitcoin Histórico tickets are sold only in BTC.

The program begins Nov. 10 with the Bitcoin Capital Summit at BINAES, a library and technology center in San Salvador. Luca Esposito of Blockstream Capital Partners will host the summit in collaboration with the National Bitcoin Office. Its discussions will cover Bitcoin’s role in institutional finance, from treasury to capital markets. Herbert and Keiser are scheduled for a closing discussion.

The Renaissance Rodeo is scheduled for Nov. 13 at Lake Ilopango. Its program includes bull riding, barrel racing and music, following the two-day Bitcoin Histórico conference. Admission to the rodeo is included with Bitcoin Histórico tickets.

EmTech AI LATAM will take place Nov. 18 and 19 at the Escuela Superior de Economía y Negocios. Its agenda addresses how organizations put AI projects into use, along with governance, workforce development and technology trends. The AI conference adds a technology-focused event to a schedule otherwise centered on Bitcoin.

The final gathering shifts from institutional finance to local transactions. Bitcoin Beach and the Federation of Bitcoin Circular Economies will hold the Global Bitcoin Circular Economies Summit in El Zonte on Nov. 19 and 20. The gathering will open to the public for the first time, with sessions on merchant adoption, education and the use of BTC for everyday payments.

The summit’s program will also examine experiences from Bitcoin circular economies in Latin America, Africa and Asia. Its Nov. 20 closing date marks the end of the five-event schedule.
