Apple’s U.S. store showed a Jan. 25 delivery estimate for the Night Sky 512GB iPhone Duo on Oct. 19, four days before the company’s first foldable iPhone is scheduled to reach customers. The estimate extends a wait first seen when preorders opened, but it does not reveal how many phones have been ordered.

Apple began U.S. preorders at 8 a.m. ET (12:00 UTC) on Oct. 16. Thirty minutes later, delivery estimates across all configurations had moved to Jan. 25, as an earlier U.S. store check found. On Oct. 19, the same date remained listed for the Night Sky 512GB model.

Apple has not disclosed preorder volume or the size of its initial supply. Delivery estimates can reflect both customer orders and available stock, so the Jan. 25 date alone does not establish sales totals or show what is driving the wait.

The iPhone Duo has a 7.6-inch inner display and a 5.4-inch outer display. Its U.S. price starts at $1,999 for the 256GB version. Apple has scheduled availability for Oct. 23.
