OpenWorld Agrees to Buy Blocksight for Tokenized Financing Plans
Blocksight’s AI tools are slated to support two proposed financing programs totaling more than $1.1 billion.

OpenWorld has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Blocksight, whose AI tools are slated to validate assets and report on more than $1.1 billion in proposed tokenized financing projects.
OpenWorld announced the agreement Oct. 1. Blocksight’s software is designed to support project planning, asset checks, investor onboarding and reporting, while people retain approval over key decisions. The acquisition remains subject to customary closing conditions.
Two later, nonbinding term sheets outline the proposed projects. On Oct. 7, OpenWorld and BeyondAI agreed to explore up to $130 million in intellectual property-backed financing. Investors would receive payment rights backed by qualifying patents and software rights. Blocksight’s agents would check the eligible intellectual property, help onboard investors and report token payments each day; BeyondAI would retain control of its technology.
On Oct. 15, OpenWorld and Meridian signed a nonbinding term sheet for a tokenized financing program of up to $1 billion for a distributed AI computing network. Meridian has purchase rights for Tesla Powerwall home batteries and would hold the storage assets. The plan targets an initial 10,000 households, with installations planned to start in the fourth quarter of 2026 and a first commercial site targeted for the first quarter of 2027.
