Richardson Electronics, Ltd. (RELL) widened European availability of LaserSlat SAVER and opened U.S. online ordering for select products, extending distribution of its laser-cutting maintenance line.

Richardson shares closed Oct. 19 at $19.03, up $0.70, or 3.82%, from the previous close at 4 p.m. ET (20:00 UTC).

LaserSlat SAVER is designed to limit slag buildup on the slats of laser-cutting tables. Richardson markets the product as a way to reduce maintenance and machine downtime. Online ordering gives U.S. customers another purchasing option alongside the company’s direct sales channel.

Richardson launched the product in March and introduced it in Brazil in April. The latest expansion extends its reach in Europe while adding an online option for select U.S. products.

For the fiscal quarter that ended Aug. 29, 2026, Richardson recorded $64.9 million in net sales, up 18.9% from a year earlier. Sales in its Power and Microwave Technologies business climbed 19.7% to $46.8 million.

Richardson plans to display LaserSlat SAVER at EuroBLECH in Hanover from Oct. 20 through Oct. 23 and at FABTECH in Las Vegas from Oct. 21 through Oct. 23.
