Amazon plans to hire more than 300,000 people across its U.S. operations network for the 2026 holiday season, putting its target more than 50,000 jobs above its 2025 plan.

The company targeted 250,000 holiday hires last year. Its new target is more than 20% higher; both figures describe hiring plans rather than completed hires.

The openings include seasonal, part-time and full-time positions. Amazon plans to post new jobs each week from October through December.
