NVIDIA Data Center Revenue Rises 117% as AMD, Broadcom Also Grow
AMD’s Data Center revenue rose 107%, while Broadcom’s AI semiconductor revenue climbed 221%. Their figures cover different products and quarters.

NVIDIA’s Data Center revenue climbed 117% to $89.0 billion in its fiscal second quarter, while AMD and Broadcom also posted gains across AI infrastructure businesses whose sales figures are not directly comparable.
NVIDIA’s quarter ended July 26. Its Data Center business, which includes computing and networking products, contributed most of the company’s $96.2 billion in total revenue. The segment extends beyond AI accelerators alone.
AMD generated $6.7 billion in Data Center revenue in the quarter ended June 27, up 107% from a year earlier. The figure includes EPYC server processors and Instinct graphics processors, so it cannot be treated as a measure of AI accelerator sales alone.
Broadcom’s AI semiconductor revenue rose 221% to $16.7 billion in its fiscal third quarter ended Aug. 2. That business includes custom AI accelerators and networking products. “Demand for our custom AI accelerators and networking continues to be very strong,” Broadcom President and CEO Hock Tan said.
The three companies define their reported businesses differently, and their quarters ended on different dates. Their revenue figures show growth across AI infrastructure, but they cannot establish a consistent vendor market share.
Cloud companies are adding their own chip designs to the mix. Amazon’s broader chips business exceeded a $25 billion annual revenue run rate in the second quarter. That annualized pace is different from revenue recorded in a single quarter.
Google introduced TPU 8t for training AI models and TPU 8i for inference, the process of running a trained model. The product announcement adds no sales figure that can be compared directly with the chipmakers’ reported segments.
A broad estimate valued the AI chip market at $203.24 billion in 2025 and projected $564.87 billion by 2032. It includes computing, memory and networking products, a scope wider than any one of the companies’ disclosed AI businesses. The estimate therefore cannot be added to their quarterly results.
Broadcom projects $21.7 billion in AI semiconductor revenue for its fiscal fourth quarter. That figure is guidance, compared with the $16.7 billion it recorded in the preceding quarter.
