Anchorage Digital, Securitize Agree to Link Platform With Bank Stablecoins
Securitize can mint and redeem the bank’s stablecoins directly, with the bank providing custody and settlement. The parties did not specify which tokens the connection will support or when it will begin.

Anchorage Digital and Securitize agreed to link the tokenization platform with Anchorage Digital Bank’s stablecoin issuance, a connection that would let Securitize mint and redeem tokens directly; the bank would provide custody and settlement.
The agreement does not name which stablecoins the connection will support or give a launch date. Securitize has more than $4 billion in assets on its platform, including funds from Apollo, BlackRock, BNY, Hamilton Lane, KKR and VanEck.
Separately, Anchorage Digital Bank issues USDtb with Ethena Labs. At 7:59:59 p.m. ET on Aug. 31, 2026 (11:59:59 p.m. UTC), USDtb’s total reserve assets were $530,419,653, including $525,205,527 in BlackRock USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund (BUIDL). BUIDL made up about 99.02% of the reserve assets.
Securitize manages BUIDL’s tokenization, issuance, compliance and trading. The USDtb reserve relationship is separate from the newly announced platform connection.
“Regulated issuance is what lets tokenization reach institutional scale,” said Nathan McCauley, co-founder and CEO of Anchorage Digital.
The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency gave conditional approval for Anchorage Trust Company to become Anchorage Digital Bank, National Association, on Jan. 13, 2021.
