The FII Institute has postponed its 10th Future Investment Initiative conference in Riyadh from Oct. 26-29 to 2027, delaying a major investment gathering whose organizer also publishes research on tokenized finance.

Existing registrations and partnerships remain valid. The institute has not set new dates for the anniversary conference.

The postponement is intended to give the event the scale and quality expected of its 10th edition. Security was not given as the reason for the decision.

Separately, Saudi Arabia is under a Level 3 U.S. travel warning dated Oct. 12. Americans are urged to reconsider travel amid missile and drone attacks on airports and other infrastructure. The warning describes travel conditions but does not establish why the conference was delayed.

The Future Investment Initiative is a broad investment gathering, rather than a dedicated crypto event. In March, the FII Institute published a report on tokenized finance with contributions from representatives of Circle, MARA and Barclays. The institute has not announced which planned sessions will return when the conference takes place in 2027.
