GFL Environmental Bidding Group Advances in Potential Sale Process

One of two groups bidding for GFL Environmental Inc. has advanced in the waste management company’s potential sale process, marking a new step in the possible transaction while both groups remain involved.

The development does not establish an agreement to sell GFL. Both bidding groups remain in the process.

GFL had previously been in talks over a possible sale to private equity firms. Its shares trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker GFL.
