Intuitive Surgical's revenue rose 22% in the third quarter of 2026, while a $450 million pretax charge for a proposed antitrust settlement cut earnings.

Revenue totaled $3.05 billion for the quarter ended Sept. 30. The settlement expense was $347 million after tax, or 99 cents per diluted share.

GAAP net income attributable to Intuitive Surgical was $523 million, or $1.49 per diluted share, compared with $704 million, or $1.95 per diluted share, in the third quarter of 2025.

The proposed settlement concerns the In re: da Vinci Surgical Robot Antitrust Litigation class action and requires preliminary and final court approval. Its terms provide for settlement without an admission of liability or wrongdoing.

Intuitive Surgical was included in an earlier earnings-calendar screen ahead of its Oct. 20 results.
