BOK Financial Narrows 2026 Net Interest Income Outlook to $1.43B-$1.44B
Loans rose 11.5% from a year earlier, and the revised forecast assumes one federal funds rate increase before year-end.

BOK Financial Corporation narrowed its 2026 net interest income forecast to $1.43 billion-$1.44 billion and maintained its year-end loan growth target above 10% after loans climbed 11.5% from a year earlier.
The range released Oct. 20 is tighter than the previous forecast of $1.42 billion-$1.45 billion. The revised outlook assumes one federal funds rate increase before year-end; the earlier forecast assumed no change. It also assumes longer-term rates will follow the current market-implied forward curve.
Loans outstanding reached $27.7 billion on Sept. 30. That was $646 million, or 2.4%, above the June 30 balance and $2.9 billion above the level a year earlier. The growth target applies to the loan balance at year-end, while the reported figure reflects the end of the third quarter.
Third-quarter net interest income rose $18.1 million from the second quarter to $370 million. Net interest margin increased to 3.00% from 2.91%. BOK Financial earned $159.9 million in net income for the quarter, or $2.64 per diluted share.
Fees and commissions totaled $188 million, down $14 million from the prior quarter. Brokerage and trading revenue accounted for $13 million of that decline. Higher rates weighed on mortgage banking and fixed-income trading during the quarter, though those businesses diversify earnings over the cycle.
For the full year, BOK Financial expects fee income above $800 million, total revenue growth in the mid-single digits and expense growth of about 1%. It projects provision expense below $10 million and an efficiency ratio near 62%, or about 63% excluding a Visa gain recognized in the second quarter.
