SpaceX forecasts $33 billion to $37 billion in first-quarter 2027 revenue as it expands its artificial intelligence computing capacity and plans a sharp increase in capital spending.

The company gave the revenue forecast during its Oct. 20 earnings call. SpaceX forecasts fourth-quarter capital spending of $35 billion to $40 billion. It spent $19.593 billion in the third quarter.

SpaceX had 1.7 gigawatts of nameplate computing capacity on Sept. 30. It expects capacity to approach 2.2 gigawatts by the end of October and reach 2.5 to 3 gigawatts by the end of 2026.

For the quarter ended Sept. 30, SpaceX recorded $14.575 billion in revenue and $4.404 billion in net income. Its Super Intelligence segment generated $7.560 billion in revenue, the largest contribution among the company’s three business segments.

SpaceX listed $1.573 billion in digital assets as of Sept. 30. Its June 30 filing identified 18,712 Bitcoin (BTC), valued at $1.098 billion at that time. The June coin count does not establish how many Bitcoin the company held at the end of September.

Separately, Elon Musk projected at least 13 gigawatts of AI compute online by the end of 2027. That projection concerns online compute, while SpaceX’s year-end 2026 goal concerns nameplate capacity.

The next capacity milestone is the company’s target of nearly 2.2 gigawatts by the end of October.
