Average Card Turnover on Courtyard Is Eight Sales a Month.
Each NFT represents a physical card stored with Courtyard before its first sale. Optional buybacks use fair market value, not the pack price.

Card turnover on Courtyard averages eight sales per month, while its vault-and-token model lets ownership change hands without shipping the physical collectible after each trade.
Its packs contain randomly assigned cards, each represented by a nonfungible token (NFT). Courtyard stores the physical card before its initial sale. Owners can transfer the token, keep the card in the vault or request delivery.
Monthly gross merchandise volume (GMV) rose from about $50,000 in January 2024 to $50 million by July 2025. Separately, its NFT collection recorded $66 million in sales in April 2025. The collection sales figure and monthly GMV measure different activity over different periods; neither is a measure of profit.
Courtyard also offers an optional buyback. The offer is based on the card’s fair market value, not the price paid for the pack, and expires after seven days. The pricing model factors in recent sales, broader market trends and comparisons between card grades.
A buyback does not guarantee that a buyer will recover the pack cost. The card can also remain in the vault or be listed for resale, with physical delivery available on request.
