Dogecoin Labs launched Wednesday to bring the MyDoge wallet, DogeOS app platform and Such App payments tool into one organization, aiming to expand uses for Dogecoin (DOGE).

Nasdaq-listed House of Doge agreed to take an equity stake in Dogecoin Labs.

The independent organization brings all three products together under CEO Jordan Jefferson. MyDoge has more than 500,000 users. DogeOS opened an Ethereum-compatible public testnet Sept. 30, giving developers an environment to build applications for DOGE holders.

Such App supports merchant invoices and in-person QR payments. Dogecoin Labs is focused on payments, commerce, decentralized finance and gaming.

The Dogecoin Foundation will continue its oversight of the broader ecosystem and support for open-source development while Dogecoin Labs handles product and commercial work.
