OpenAI and Google Cloud are opening a private preview of three OpenAI models for select enterprise customers, expanding access to the company's AI tools through another major cloud platform.

The Oct. 21 rollout brings GPT-6 Astra, GPT-6.1 Sol and GPT-6 Luna to Google Cloud's Model Garden. Eligible customers can use the models through Google Cloud APIs. Access remains limited to selected enterprises during the preview.

The models will be sold through Google Cloud Marketplace. Businesses with existing Google Cloud spending commitments will be able to apply them to those purchases, putting OpenAI model spending on their Google Cloud bill.

Codex is part of the rollout. Preview users can connect local Codex CLI and Desktop workflows to Google's Gemini platform to run the models. OpenAI also plans to make its models available in Google Antigravity.

Google Cloud offers its own AI models, giving customers another choice on the same platform. OpenAI plans broader availability in the coming weeks.
