Soluna and Applied Digital Plan 50 MW AI Data Center in Texas
Applied Digital is expected to own 51% of the venture, while Soluna would contribute land and power-related assets.

Soluna Holdings and Applied Digital plan to develop the first 50 MW phase of Project Dorothy 3, an AI and high-performance computing site in Briscoe County, Texas, as Soluna expands beyond Bitcoin mining infrastructure.
Phase 1 of Project Dorothy 3 is planned near Silverton with 50 MW of critical IT capacity. The site is beside the 150 MW Briscoe Wind Farm, and the project is expected to draw power from the wind farm and the grid, subject to final agreements.
Applied Digital is expected to hold a 51% stake and provide development capital. Soluna is expected to own 49% and contribute land and power-related project assets.
ChronoScale Holdings Corporation, which is majority-owned by Applied Digital, has signed a nonbinding letter of intent to lease the planned facility. A definitive lease has not been completed.
The companies are targeting a closing by the end of 2026, subject to Briscoe County tax-abatement approval, corporate approvals, title policies and final operating, lease and power agreements. Soluna bought 397 acres next to the wind farm in August for Dorothy 3, which it described as a planned AI campus with potential capacity of up to 300 MW.
