Ledger Wallet’s Bitcoin-backed lending launch initially supports four Ethereum markets, giving users a way to borrow stablecoins against tokenized Bitcoin (BTC) without leaving the wallet.

Users can post cbBTC or wBTC as collateral and borrow USD Coin (USDC) or Tether (USDT). Morpho supplies the lending markets, and Yield handles the technical integration.

The four-market count clarifies the scope of the previously covered Bitcoin-backed loan launch. In the wallet, borrowers can track a loan's value relative to its collateral, repay, add collateral or withdraw assets. Each action requires confirmation on a Ledger hardware device through a plain-text signature.

Rates vary, and loans carry liquidation risk. Availability depends on the user's country or region.
