Dedic Says Collector Crypt Logged 106,023 Openings, Gross Revenue Above $22 Million

Dedic called the count twice the prior record and credited Pump.fun’s distribution. The measurement window is unspecified, so the figure cannot be directly compared with an earlier 24-hour total of 123,425 openings.

Moonrock Capital founder Simon Dedic said Collector Crypt logged 106,023 pack openings and more than $22 million in gross revenue in a day, describing the opening total as twice its previous record.

Dedic made the claim in a post on Wednesday, Oct. 21, and credited Pump.fun’s distribution with boosting activity. The post did not define the hours covered by “a day.”

Collector Crypt previously recorded 123,425 pack openings over a 24-hour period. That earlier total is larger, but the numbers are not directly comparable because Dedic did not provide a measurement window for his count. The platform also recorded $24.3 million in transaction volume during that period, a different measure from gross revenue.

Pump.fun added Collector Crypt’s randomized pack feature and trading-card marketplace to its app on Monday, Oct. 19. During the integration’s first day, Pump.fun users generated about 20% of Collector Crypt’s overall pack-opening volume, a launch-day share from a separate period. Collector Crypt’s pack activity spans categories including Pokémon and One Piece, but the reported total has no category-by-category breakdown.

Dedic also cited 49 partner apps using Collector Crypt’s application programming interface (API) and more than 20,000 wallets holding at least one tokenized collectible. A wallet is a blockchain address, so the figure does not show how many distinct people own collectibles or opened packs.

The API lets partner apps create pack-opening experiences and deliver nonfungible tokens (NFTs) associated with physical cards. Each NFT represents a graded card kept in a vault. A buyer receives the digital token through the pack-opening process while the underlying card remains in storage.

The standard pack costs $50, and a random roll selects the NFT a buyer receives. Eligible NFTs may be sold back for USD Coin (USDC) within 72 hours under the platform’s buyback rules. To receive the physical card, a holder must burn its NFT and pay shipping; cards must be graded before deposit.

Gross revenue describes revenue before expenses; it does not show the amount left as profit after costs. Dedic’s post did not define the figure’s calculation or time boundaries, so it cannot be treated as net earnings or matched to a specific daily accounting period.
