House of Doge has agreed to contribute selected operations and assets to Dogecoin Labs for an equity stake, but closing conditions leave the transfer pending.

The contribution covers selected product, engineering and commercial operations, along with related assets. House of Doge would receive an equity stake in Labs as part of the transaction, which remains subject to closing conditions.

Dogecoin Labs was announced Oct. 21 as an independent organization formed with the Dogecoin Foundation. It is intended to bring MyDoge, DogeOS and Such App under one operation, focused on product development and commercial opportunities. The planned transfer adds a pending asset contribution to Dogecoin Labs’ launch.

Jordan Jefferson, founder of MyDoge and DogeOS, is the organization’s CEO. The Dogecoin Foundation will continue its stewardship, open-source support, advocacy and community work.

The products are at different stages. MyDoge is a wallet. DogeOS opened a public testnet Sept. 30, giving developers an EVM-compatible environment to build and test applications; featured decentralized apps are listed as coming soon. Such App’s limited beta began May 25 with invoice payments in Dogecoin (DOGE) and in-person payments using QR codes. Its connection to DogeOS remains a planned integration.

The operations and assets transfer remains contingent on the transaction’s closing conditions.
