Lam Research raised its revenue target for Aether to about $2.5 billion by the end of the decade. The company’s preliminary forecast for industry wafer-fab equipment spending in 2027 is above $200 billion.

Lam expects DRAM to lead demand growth, with NAND use also increasing. Clean-room capacity and supply-chain constraints are risks to the company’s ability to meet demand.

Wafer-fab equipment spending is an industry measure, separate from Lam’s own revenue. The preliminary 2027 forecast follows Lam’s mid-$150 billion outlook for 2026 WFE spending.
