Alpha Modus says it added 3,170 Bitcoin (BTC) through an exchange of shares and warrants, taking its reported Bitcoin holdings above $250 million and diluting existing shareholders.

The Nasdaq-listed company exchanged 51.6 million shares and matching warrants for the BTC, using equity-linked instruments to expand its digital-asset holdings.

The 3,170 BTC is the amount acquired in the swap; the figure above $250 million is the value Alpha Modus reports for its Bitcoin holdings. The distinction separates the size of this transaction from the total value of the company's reported holdings.

Because shares were part of the exchange, existing shareholders are diluted: each share represents a smaller proportional stake when a company issues more shares. Matching warrants were also included as part of the consideration.

The deal expands Alpha Modus' corporate Bitcoin holdings using equity instruments rather than a direct cash payment. Its reported treasury growth comes with a smaller proportional ownership stake for existing shareholders.
