Bitunix has put its Care Fund at 50 million USD Coin (USDC) and published an address for on-chain tracking.

The announcement describes the move as an increase from 30 million USDC. But the guide dated Oct. 19 says the fund launched with 50 million USDC, while a guide dated Jan. 19 lists its initial capitalization as 30 million USDC.

Bitunix’s Care Fund is part of a protection framework that also includes account security features and Proof of Reserves. The fund is intended for exceptional incidents that require an exchange-level investigation, rather than routine market outcomes.

Compensation depends on verified circumstances and applicable rules. Bitunix has not set out a single list of circumstances that qualify for compensation. The published review process asks customers to provide incident details and relevant transaction or order references.
