Third-quarter revenue rose 10% year over year to $3.097 billion, while adjusted diluted earnings reached $3 per share.

Quest Diagnostics raised its 2026 revenue and adjusted earnings outlook after third-quarter results topped analyst estimates, moving its annual targets higher as sales and testing volume grew.
Revenue was $3.097 billion for the quarter ended Sept. 30, up 10% from $2.816 billion a year earlier and about $47 million above the $3.05 billion analyst estimate. Adjusted diluted earnings were $3 per share, 13 cents above the $2.87 consensus and 15.4% higher than the $2.60 recorded a year earlier.
Quest raised the low end of its 2026 revenue forecast from $11.95 billion to $12.065 billion and the high end from $12.05 billion to $12.105 billion. Its adjusted diluted earnings forecast is $11.25 to $11.35 per share, up from $11.05 to $11.25.
Test requisition volume increased 14.5%, including 14.4% organic growth, while revenue per requisition declined 4.2%. Diluted earnings under generally accepted accounting principles were $2.78 per share, up from $2.16 a year earlier.
“We delivered revenue growth of 10% and adjusted EPS growth of over 15% on continued strength across our physician, hospital and consumer channels, complemented by productivity gains from automation and AI,” Quest Diagnostics Chairman, CEO and President Jim Davis said.
Quest’s non-GAAP earnings calculation leaves out restructuring and integration charges, amortization and other items.
