The Vita Coco Company raised its fiscal 2026 sales and adjusted EBITDA outlook after third-quarter net sales climbed 33.7% year over year, with its July acquisition of Copra contributing to reported growth.

Net sales were $243.825 million for the three months ended Sept. 30, compared with $182.313 million in the same quarter a year earlier. The company posted net income of $35.017 million, up from $24.003 million. Diluted earnings per share increased to 58 cents from 40 cents. Those results represent increases of $61.512 million in sales and $11.014 million in net income; net income rose about 45.9%, while diluted earnings per share gained 45%.

For fiscal 2026, Vita Coco raised its net sales outlook to $810 million to $820 million, from $790 million to $805 million. It lifted its non-GAAP adjusted EBITDA range to $170 million to $175 million, from $154 million to $161 million. At the range midpoints, the sales target moved from $797.5 million to $815 million, an increase of $17.5 million. The adjusted EBITDA midpoint rose $15 million, from $157.5 million to $172.5 million. Those midpoint increases are about 2.2% for sales and 9.5% for adjusted EBITDA. The fiscal year ends Dec. 31.

Organic net sales growth was 17.8%, excluding Copra. Vita Coco's reconciliation assigned 16.0 percentage points of reported growth to the acquisition. The company acquired Copra on July 22. The business produces Thai Nam Hom coconut water and operates a private-label business. Together, the organic growth figure and acquisition contribution account for the reported increase, subject to rounding.

CEO Martin Roper pointed to consumer demand as the reason for the higher annual targets. “Consumer demand is very healthy, and we are therefore raising our full year Net Sales and Adjusted EBITDA guidance,” Roper said.

Vita Coco still expects a full-year gross margin of about 40%, despite forecasting about 33% for the fourth quarter. The fourth-quarter projection is about 7 percentage points below the annual target. The company cited rising costs of goods, with price actions to offset them not expected until early 2027.
