Tractor Supply Company’s comparable-store sales rose 0.4% in fiscal Q3 after a 1.5% drop in Q2, reversing direction as monthly sales trends improved through September.

The quarter ended Sept. 26. Sales trends were negative in July, turned modestly positive in August and strengthened further in September.

The quarterly increase reflected a 0.7% rise in comparable average ticket, partly offset by a 0.3% decline in comparable average transaction count.

“Our third quarter marked a step forward for Tractor Supply, with improved sales momentum and broader strength across our business,” President and CEO Hal Lawton said.

Net income fell 13.3% from a year earlier to $224.7 million. TokenPost’s earlier breakdown of the third-quarter results covers the broader earnings picture.

The company’s fiscal 2026 outlook remains comparable-store sales ranging from a 1% decline to flat and net-sales growth of 2.5% to 3.5%.
