Solana Company has made Hong Kong its Asia-Pacific executive hub and plans validator operations there, extending a low-latency infrastructure program across four regional cities, including Tokyo.

The Nasdaq-listed company received strategic enterprise designation from Hong Kong’s Office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises (OASES). It joined the office’s seventh batch, recognized at an Oct. 22 signing ceremony for 18 enterprises.

Pacific Backbone’s roadmap covers Seoul, Tokyo, Singapore and Hong Kong, with infrastructure intended to support staking and validation. Its first institutional validator cluster was built in Tokyo during the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company has not announced a start date for the planned Hong Kong operations.

Chairman and CEO Joseph Chee said the Hong Kong office would support the company’s regional work. “Asia Pacific is central to our strategy, and Hong Kong is the base from which we will advise institutions and build infrastructure across the region.”
