Unusual Machines Lands $16.9 Million Powerus Drone Parts Order
The components are intended to support Powerus’ autonomous and counter-drone systems, following an earlier order and a $30 million equity investment.

Unusual Machines, Inc. disclosed Oct. 22 that it received a $16.9 million purchase order from Powerus Corporation for drone hardware, adding to a relationship that includes an earlier purchase and equity investment.
The package includes video transmitters and cameras alongside batteries and motors. Powerus plans to use the parts across its unmanned systems portfolio to support production of autonomous and counter-drone systems.
The order follows a Powerus component purchase valued at more than $5 million in April. That order covered U.S.-made parts for counter-drone systems and related platforms. In June, Unusual Machines made a $30 million strategic equity investment in Powerus.
“This latest order builds on our partnership and underscores the importance of a reliable domestic supply chain behind those systems,” Unusual Machines CEO Allan Evans said.
