Arf and Ripple Plan RLUSD Funding for XRP Ledger Payment Firms
Arf handles about $10 billion in annual settlement volume across its broader business, but the companies have not disclosed the RLUSD amount or expected volume for the XRPL arrangement.

Arf and Ripple plan to provide licensed payment companies with Ripple USD (RLUSD) on the XRP Ledger (XRPL), giving firms short-term working capital while cross-border transfers settle. The initial phase would fund payments directly, covering the interval between sending money and receiving settlement.
With repayment usually due within one to five days, Arf can reuse funds as the payments clear. The arrangement is designed to help payment providers avoid keeping funds idle in destination markets while transfers are in progress.
Arf has about $10 billion in annual global settlement volume, and its capital turns over four times a month. Those figures describe its broader business. Neither company has specified the RLUSD amount for the XRPL plan or its projected transaction volume.
Arf plans to shift more activity to the XRPL's proposed Single Asset Vault and Lending Protocol features. They would manage pooled capital and lending onchain, while Arf would continue to handle underwriting and working-capital decisions offchain.
The features require validator approval, and no activation date has been given.
