Republic Bancorp reported third-quarter 2026 net income of $31.071 million, up 4% from a year earlier, and diluted earnings of $1.59 per Class A share, up 5%. The quarter ended Sept. 30.

Net interest income was $85.672 million, compared with $76.970 million a year earlier. Noninterest income totaled $18.262 million, up from $16.568 million. Together, the figures totaled $103.934 million in net revenue.

Core Banking net income increased 15% to $22.8 million. The segment’s net interest income rose 8% to $66.1 million, while its net interest margin reached 4.03%, compared with 3.78% a year earlier.

Results differed across the company’s other businesses. Republic Processing Group recorded $8.3 million in net income, down from $9.9 million. Republic Credit Solutions net income fell 15% to $6.2 million from $7.2 million. Higher expenses and provisions outweighed growth in net interest income and program fees at Republic Credit Solutions.

“Our Core Bank’s outstanding financial performance was driven by strong loan growth across our core markets and lending categories, combined with net interest income expansion, disciplined expense management, and solid credit quality,” Republic Bank & Trust President and CEO Logan Pichel said.

Republic Bancorp is a bank holding company and the parent of Republic Bank & Trust. The bank operates 47 banking centers in five metropolitan areas across five states. Republic Bancorp, which trades on Nasdaq under the ticker RBCAA, had approximately $7.08 billion in assets as of Sept. 30.
