YZi Labs Names Four Students to Its First Atlas Scout Cohort
The students will help evaluate early-stage startups in Web3, AI and biotechnology, while YZi Labs retains final investment authority.

YZi Labs selected four university students for the first Atlas Scout group, bringing them into the firm’s early-stage investment work across Web3, artificial intelligence and biotechnology.
The students attend Stanford, Yale, UC Berkeley and UCLA. They will help identify startups and assess projects through initial research and due diligence. YZi Labs will make the final investment decisions.
YZi Labs introduced Atlas Scout in March with a goal of recruiting five to 10 students from universities worldwide. The program’s initial plan included up to $1 million to support early-stage projects in the three fields.
