Two NFT Posts Surface as Three Marketplaces Change NFT Services
An Oct. 23 post and a separate post express individual views. Nifty Gateway closed, Binance moved NFT management to its wallet, and Magic Eden ended support for selected chains.

Two X accounts posted about belief in NFTs, offering individual views as three marketplaces made distinct changes to their NFT services this year.
On Friday, Oct. 23, @MookieNFT asked, “Do you still believe in NFTs?” In a separate post, @WomanDefi wrote, “I think yes, still believe in them.” The posts are individual statements, not a measure of broader collector demand.
Nifty Gateway closed April 23, after Gemini had announced Jan. 23 that it planned to close the platform Feb. 23. Withdrawal assistance and a bulk withdrawal tool remain available, and the platform plans to preserve NFT metadata and images indefinitely. Gemini framed the decision as a way to focus on a “one-stop super app” and said NFT support would continue through Gemini Wallet.
Binance moved NFT management from Binance Exchange to Binance Wallet. It gave holders through July 3 to transfer transferable NFTs to Binance Wallet or another compatible wallet; NFTs left on the exchange after that date would no longer be accessible.
Magic Eden ended marketplace support for Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) chains March 9, while its Solana Marketplace, Packs and Lucky Buy remained available. Bitcoin APIs and other remaining Bitcoin services ended March 27.
