Middlesex Water Raises Quarterly Dividend 5.56% to $0.38

On Oct. 23, Middlesex Water Company’s board declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.38 per common share, up 5.56% from $0.36. The higher dividend raises the annual rate to $1.52 per share from $1.44.

The dividend is payable Dec. 1 to shareholders of record Nov. 16. This marks the company’s 54th consecutive year of dividend increases; Middlesex Water has paid cash dividends every year since 1912.

The water and wastewater utility serves more than half a million people in New Jersey and Delaware.
