Six Deals Add $62.6 Million to $1.7626 Billion Funding Tally
Eight financing disclosures from Oct. 17-23 totaled $1.7626 billion, with Tenstorrent and Whop accounting for 96.4% of the amount.

Six financing disclosures added $62.6 million to an eight-deal total of $1.7626 billion for Oct. 17-23, while two of the largest rounds accounted for $1.7 billion of the tally.
The two largest deals were Tenstorrent's $1.5 billion Series E and Whop's $200 million Series D. Tenstorrent, an AI computing company, was valued at $6.2 billion after its round, led by Trace Capital and Innovation X. Whop, an online business platform, raised at a $5.1 billion valuation in a round led by Sequoia and Shopify Ventures. Together, the rounds represented 96.4% of the total.
Tenstorrent plans to use its financing to deploy Galaxy servers and advance its AI and CPU designs. Whop said its funding will support international expansion and research and development in payments and advertising.
The six other financings were Robinhood Ventures Fund I's $30 million purchase of preferred stock in Erebor Bank, National Association; Mural's $15 million Series A; a $10.6 million Dataline seed round; $5 million in seed financing for Nectar Group, Inc.; and $1 million rounds for each of Hylo and X Pay. Mural said the Series A brought its cumulative funding to $28 million. Hylo's strategic round was led by Solana Ventures, with Colosseum participating. X Pay raised its amount from nine investors for its x402 payment infrastructure.
Dataline co-founder Nuo Shi said the company's seed round was co-led by Lattice and Dispersion Capital and closed in April. The disclosures cover a range of businesses, including AI computing, online commerce, banking and payment infrastructure.
The tally follows announcement and disclosure dates, not just deals that closed during the week. Robinhood Ventures Fund I's investment in Erebor closed Sept. 17. The dates in the roundup therefore mark when the financings were disclosed, while some underlying transactions had closed earlier.
